Attending Maker Expo


As always, Maker Expo is free to attend, all we ask is you bring your imagination! This year we’ve moved to a bigger venue, the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex! Expo will be running in both the Kinsmen and Kiwanis rinks.

Update March 22nd 2020: Unfortunately, Maker Expo 2020 has been postponed to 2021. 


On-site Parking at The Aud is free and located on both sides of the complex. Parking is accessible from Ottawa Street, Stirling Ave and East Ave. For more info, check the parking page on The Aud’s website.

Mass Transportation

Bus routes running near the expo:

  • Route 8 (University/Fairview – University/King) to Stop 2634 – Ottawa/Mackenzie
  • Route 8 (University/Fairview – Fairview Park) to Stop 2850 – Ottawa/Highway 7
  • iXpress 205 – Ottawa/Lackner

Driving In from 401

Hwy-401 to Hwy-8 West (Kitchener) exit. West on Hwy-8 to Hwy-7 North. North on Hwy-7 to Ottawa St. exit. West on Ottawa to East Ave. North (right) on East to Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. Arena is on the east (right) side of the road.
